Here are some cheats for all you cheaters out there.......
During play, press Ctrl+Shift+C to bring up the cheat window. Now type in one of the following:
rosebud - Gives you 1000 Simoleons (for patched version)
klapaucius - Gives you 1000 Simoleons (for unpatched version)
kaching - Gives 1000 Simoleons
motherlode - Gives 50,000 Simoleons
move_objects- Allows you to move almost anything in The Sims. move_objects ON to turn it on, OFF to Turn it off.
WATER_TOOL - Puts water around your home
SET_HOUR (1 to 24) - Set time of day
SET_SPEED (-1000 to 1000)- Set game speed
AUTONOMY (1 to 100) - Change how much the Sims think on their own
INTERESTS - Change interests and personality
GROW_GRASS (1-150) - Set grass growth level
MAP_EDIT ON/OFF- Toggle map editor
ROUTE_BALLOONS ON/OFF - Toggle tutorial
SWEEP ON/OFF - Toggle "ticks" of the game
TILE_INFO ON/OFF - Toggle tile info.
DRAW_ALL_FRAMES ON/OFF - Toggles drawing every frame
LOG_MASK - Set event logging mask
SIM_SPEED (-1000-1000)- Set sim speed
SIM_LOG BEGIN/END - Creates a log of your Sims history.
A few other cheat stuff
! - Repeats last cheat
; - Type between codes to enter several at the same time
A cheat added by Xtr3me.
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true --- This allows you to press shift, and click any item, and change it, do it on your sims, or the mailbox. This was a cheat used while testing the game, so use wisely, do NOT click Force Error, it deletes the item, that could delete your mailbox or even your sims. be careful with it, Im not responsible for your actions while using this cheat.

Yo one more cheat for the sims is
rosebud;?;?;?;?
It gives you a lot of money.

Simply type in
rosebud; ;
Then hold down the enter key. As long as you hold down the enter key it will continue to give you Simoleans. When you have enough, erase the second ; and hit enter (rosebud and it will remove the command window.
has anyone come up with a way to get lots of magic coins??
i went to magic town to get the dragon egg, now how do i get it out of my inventory and begin to care for it??
i would like to know how to get magicoins......
I dunno any cheats to get magic coins like u can get money, but if you get your persons logic up to almost full, you can have him perform on magic stages. When they wont do it, go back home, type move_objects on....delete ur sim, and he'll be happy again, and repeat above untilll desired amount of magicoins is fufilled
type magicbud and you get 1000 magic coins
I got an egg from magic town and to take care of it, it is supposed to automatically come out of your inventory and is by where your sim is dropped off or the black hole to magic town.... if it didn't automatically come out of your inventory then you might have a problem with your game
When the Dragon egg hatches it is nothing but trouble...always setting fires and always eating the plants...
typing in magicbud to get magi coins dosn't work so who ever said that it does is wrong

How long is it until the dragon egg will hatch.
it takes like two sim days for it to hatch.....
where do you get the toadstools for the kids spells......
If you tickle the Dragons often they will be friendly dragons and they will not set everything on fire.
To rack up Magi coins, let your person perform on stage, once they start the trick, click on the stage again and select another trick, do this again and again. Watch the comfort level and energy though. Once they leave the stage they have from 100 to 250 magicoins, all depends on how many tricks they can perform in the series. This eliminates them getting off the stage then back on and conserves that energy also.
Has anyone figured out how to feed the dragons?
the dragon eats garbage and that is all it eats.... so when you empty your trash click on the box that tells the sim to do stuff and it will drop the trash and the dragon will come and eat it....

how do you get the toadstools to grow at your home
You can get toadstools by buying one of the seats that looks like them, then I believe you sit on it you might not have to.... It takes a while for them to grow but when they do you just click on them and say harvest.
how do you get to climb up the beanstalk? and how do you get it to grow at your home lot?
1. You can't get the dragon unless you have Makin' Magic. If you do have it you can get a dragon nest from Vicki Vampiress in Magic Town.
2. Dragons will eat garbage and flowers. Mine will only eat garbage and daffodils.
3. Save before you delete your sims so if there got any Magic Coins or anything such as skills. If you don't then that stuff will be deleted.
4. My dragon took 12 hours to hatch.
5. There is not a magic coin cheat code so if you want them fast do what post #16 says to do.
6. Beanstalks and chrystals only grow on Magic Town house lots.
7. I have a Magic room in all my Magic Sim's homes that is filled with counters all alongside the walls so my sims just put the charms they make on them. I also put my spinning wheel , beehive, charm maker, wand charger, and magic book in there as well so non-magic sims don't see me doing spells so the Spellchecker does not come to give me citations.
8. Kids can get citations as well.
Dragons also eat mice (small rodents).
i just got the makin magic expansion a week ago, and the game wont let me buy anything from that faerie, vampiress, or that other magic guy...it just says 'browse' when i click on there little shop thing....i used to be able to buy things though..
another question...can you live in those houses in magic town? the ones that say that you can't visit there? or are those places just for decoration?

1. To buy things from the Faerie, Vampiress, and Apothecary Todd you have to click on them not the stands. You must also have MagiCoins. You can not buy magical items (Pixie Dust, Toadstools) from stands with simoleans. You can buy non-magical (Honey, Sugar) things from the gypsies with simoleans.
2. You can live in the houses in Magic Town if your sim has at least 1,500 MagiCoins. Two cost 1,000 MC and one costs 1,500 MC.
My dragon is a lil terror, he destroys everything in site and burns my house. Is there any cure? and can u have more than 1 dragon?
Also is there a simple way 4 coins, like cheats? cause it takes 4eva @ the mo.

If you don't want it set it free. I don't know if you can have more than one. To set a dragon free just click on it and click the Set Free words out of the pop up menu.
There is no magiCoin cheat. If you had read the other posts in this thread YOU WOULD KNOW THAT! So many people ask that question and there isn't one. If you want MagicCoins quickly do what post #16.
you can buy dragon treats to feed your dragon as well. You get them at the vampiress stand.
It is sort of obvious when a person clicks on the vampiress to buy the dragon that there are treats availabe as well on the pie menu. You did not need to post that.
Also, I am trying to answer questions that were already on this but can people please start posting hints and ideas in the forum area. Start a thread or something. I will not be posting anymore here so as to not encourage other people to do so as well. This thread is for cheats.

I know a way to get magic coins, fast! Go to simslice.com and download the magic coin machiene. You pay simoleons for coins. EXC:
40$ = 4000 magic coins.
To get thousands of dollars, type ROSEBUD ;!
highlight the ;! and hold ctrl C. Then click on the space after ;! and hold ctrl V. Hold it untill the cheat bar will not let ypu type anymore. Then backspace twice, and type @. Hold enter and the "No Such Cheat" sign will appear. Keep holding it and the sign will flash, and give you a whole lot of simoleons.
( Oh, and please, don't posts cheats that aren't real. It's really a wast of time and space.)

There is a website that in the downloads section has a cheat box like the one the mystery man gives you BUT you get unliminted wands, toadstools, magi coins...
I downloaded it and it works I didn't save the web site thought

to get black roses you need to have the sims superstar and get your fame up and obsessed fans will come and put blavk roses down and you can pick them up if you have the sims makin magic
to get snake venom you have to barter with the snake charmer... he takes golden thread in turn for snake venom

Hi every one about the 'how do you get magic coins' Go to Wilkare's Fun sims and click on the downloads hacked objects and click on makin magic the first object you come to is a blue chair download this and as it explains every time you sit on it it gives you 110 magic coins!! also on the second page of makin magic haked items there is the starter kit which gives you extra ingredients and 30000 magic coins!!!!!!!!!!!!!
